GM China sales rose 7.5% in April

Posted By GMbeat on Articles - General Motors and its joint venture partners sold 277,979 vehicles in April in China, a 7.5% increase from the year-earlier month. The performance was led by continuing strong demand for SUVs and a 56% rise in sales for Buick, GM's largest brand in China. Buick sold 98,992 vehicles last month, led by strong demand for the Excelle GT sedan and Envision SUV. The new LaCrosse hybrid electric vehicle will soon be joining the recently introduced gasoline LaCrosse midsize sedan in the lineup.
