Navistar to Build GM Cutaway Vans in 2017

Posted By GMbeat on Articles - Medium and heavy truck manufacturer Navistar today announced its manufacturing partnership with General Motors that would move production of cutaway versions of the GM G-series van at its Springfield, Ohio, plant, freeing up more capacity at GM’s Wentzville, Missouri, plant to build more of the hot-selling Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon midsize trucks. Wentzville will continue to build the conventional cargo and passenger versions of the Chevrolet Express and GMC Savana fullsize vans.
