Smarter Suspensions Are on the Way for Pickups

More accommodating independent front suspensions did not appear on two-wheel-drive pickups until the 1960 Chevrolets and 1965 Fords. Eventually IFS made it onto four-wheel-drive applications on the half-ton 1980 Ford, 1988 Chevy and GMC, and 2002 Dodge pickups.
